The Spears FlameGuard™ 1 in. CPVC female adapter connects CPVC piping to male-threaded components in wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it provides strength, chemical resistance, and long-term reliability. The reinforced plastic threads offer secure engagement and resist cracking or distortion under installation torque. The socket end joins to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement to form a watertight, permanent bond. UL Listed and FM Approved, this adapter meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. Rated for 175 psi and 150°F, it is ideal for residential and light-hazard fire protection systems.
