The Spears FlameGuard™ 3/4 in. CPVC female adapter connects CPVC pipe to male-threaded fittings in wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it offers strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance. The reinforced plastic threads provide added durability and resistance to cracking during installation. The socket end connects to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement, forming a secure, watertight joint. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for use in NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D systems. Rated for 175 psi and 150°F maximum service temperature, it’s suitable for residential and light-hazard fire sprinkler installations.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ guidelines for pipe cleaning, solvent cementing, and thread sealing. Use CPVC-safe sealants and tighten to recommended torque limits.
