The Spears FlameGuard™ 3/4 in. spigot female adapter connects CPVC pipe to threaded fittings in wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it provides long-term durability, corrosion resistance, and strength. The reinforced plastic thread offers reliable engagement for sprinkler or system connections while resisting cracking under torque. The spigot end fits into a CPVC socket fitting and bonds using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement for a watertight seal. UL Listed and FM Approved, this fitting meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. Rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F, it’s suitable for residential and light-hazard sprinkler applications.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for pipe preparation, cementing, and assembly. Apply a CPVC-safe thread sealant and avoid overtightening.
