The Spears FlameGuard™ QuickTorque™ SR 1 in. x 1/2 in. female sprinkler head adapter connects CPVC pipe to metal sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. It features a gasket-sealed metal thread for fast installation and a reliable, watertight connection. The QuickTorque™ SR design provides torque control to prevent over-tightening and reduce stress on the CPVC body. Manufactured from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. The socket end connects to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-compliant solvent cement to form a permanent, leak-free seal. UL Listed and FM Approved, this fitting complies with NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. Rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F, it’s suitable for residential and light-hazard applications.
Install per Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler head assembly. Use approved CPVC sealant and adhere to torque specifications.
