The Spears FlameGuard™ TorqueSafe™ 1 in. x 1/2 in. female sprinkler head adapter connects CPVC piping to brass sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. Constructed from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it includes a brass insert with a gasket-sealed female thread that ensures a watertight, reusable connection. The TorqueSafe™ design features a built-in stop that prevents overtightening and minimizes stress on the CPVC body. The socket end bonds to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement to create a secure, permanent seal. UL Listed and FM Approved, this fitting meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards.
