The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-1/4 in. special reinforced thread inlet swing check valve connects CPVC piping to threaded metal components in wet fire sprinkler systems. The valve features a reinforced female thread inlet for strength and durability, paired with a CPVC socket outlet that is solvent-cemented using ASTM F493-approved cement. Constructed from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term performance. The internal swing disc closes automatically to prevent reverse water flow and maintain system pressure.
Install in accordance with Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for pipe preparation, orientation, and assembly. Use CPVC-safe sealant on the threaded connection and ensure proper torque to avoid leaks.
