The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-1/4 in. CPVC swing check valve provides backflow prevention for CPVC wet fire sprinkler systems. It is constructed from fire-protection-grade CPVC for superior corrosion resistance, strength, and heat tolerance. The swing-style internal disc allows forward flow and closes automatically to prevent reverse water flow when system pressure drops. Both socket ends are solvent-cemented using ASTM F493-approved cement for a watertight, permanent joint.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for cleaning, cementing, and valve orientation. Ensure correct flow direction as indicated on the valve body.
