The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-1/2 in. CPVC swing check valve is designed to prevent reverse water flow in CPVC wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it provides high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and long-term performance under pressure. The internal swing disc opens with forward flow and closes automatically when flow stops, maintaining system integrity. Both socket ends are joined to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement for a watertight seal.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ recommendations for flow direction, pipe cleaning, and cementing. Ensure proper alignment and follow orientation arrows marked on the valve body. The CPVC construction resists scaling, rust, and chemical degradation.
