Safe Signal™ Supervisory Switch PSP1 Plug-In Special Purpose Tamper Switch
This Safe Signal™ PSP1 Supervisory Switch, also known as a Tamper Switch, is a Plug-In Special Purpose switch that is designed for applications where no other type of listed valve tamper switch can be installed. Typically, this switch monitors non-rising stem gate, ball, and angle valves.
This device is approved for Class A and B circuits, and employs an adjustable length supervisory cord which, when pulled out, closes a set of normally open contacts. A lockout feature prevents reinsertion of the cord until the cover is removed and the unit is reset. This switch features a NEMA 3 rated housing and water-resistant cord and can be installed indoors or outdoors. It features a 360-degree mounting design that provides greater installation flexibility.
This Special Purpose Supervisory Switch has a temperature range of -4-149F. It is NEMA 3R & UL Listed for use indoors and outdoors with an 8 ft. 2 wire 18-gauge waterproof cable. It has a contact rating of 6/12/24V AC/DC & is equipped with tamper-resistant cover screws to prevent unauthorized entry.
