The Spears FlameGuard™ 3/4-inch x 1/2-inch female sprinkler head adapter is made from fire-protection-grade CPVC and features a reinforced plastic thread with a positioning ring for precise installation. The adapter connects CPVC pipe to sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. The socket end joins to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement, creating a strong, watertight seal. The reinforced plastic thread provides extra strength while preventing over-torque damage during sprinkler installation. The built-in positioning ring helps align the sprinkler head at the correct depth for ceiling finishes and escutcheons. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for systems designed to NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D.
