The Spears FlameGuard™ 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. spigot female sprinkler head adapter connects CPVC piping to sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it provides excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and longevity. The reinforced plastic thread ensures a secure sprinkler connection while reducing the risk of cracking under torque. The spigot end fits into a CPVC socket fitting and is solvent-cemented with ASTM F493-approved cement for a watertight seal. UL Listed and FM Approved, this adapter meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. Rated for 175 psi and a maximum temperature of 150°F, it is ideal for residential and light-hazard sprinkler applications.
Install per Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler head attachment. Use CPVC-safe thread sealant and tighten to manufacturer torque recommendations.
