The Spears FlameGuard™ 3/4-inch x 1/2-inch female sprinkler head adapter with positioning ring connects CPVC pipe to brass sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. The adapter features a fire-protection-grade CPVC body and a 1/2-inch brass female thread for secure sprinkler attachment. The integrated positioning ring helps ensure the correct depth and alignment when installing sprinklers in ceiling openings. The socket end joins to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-compliant solvent cement to form a strong, watertight bond. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for systems following NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. It is rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F maximum service temperature.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler alignment.
