The Spears FlameGuard™ 1 in. x 1/2 in. spigot female sprinkler head adapter connects CPVC pipe to brass sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. Constructed from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it offers high impact strength, corrosion resistance, and reliable performance. The brass female thread insert provides a durable and heat-resistant connection for sprinkler installation. The spigot end connects to a CPVC socket fitting using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement to form a watertight joint. UL Listed and FM Approved, this fitting complies with NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D. It is rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F, making it suitable for residential and light-hazard systems.
