The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-1/4 in. x 1/2 in. sprinkler head tee connects CPVC pipe to sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it features reinforced plastic threads that provide strength and durability while resisting cracking and deformation. The socket ends are solvent-cemented using ASTM F493-approved cement to create a permanent, watertight joint. UL Listed and FM Approved, this fitting meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. It is rated for 175 psi working pressure and a maximum temperature of 150°F, suitable for residential and light-hazard sprinkler systems using CPVC piping.
Follow Spears FlameGuard™ installation instructions for cleaning, solvent cementing, and sprinkler head connection. Apply a CPVC-safe thread sealant and tighten only to manufacturer torque limits.
