CPVC Sprinkler Head Tee — 1 in. x 1/2 in. Reinforced Plastic Thread — Spears FlameGuard™ — 4202-130SR
The Spears FlameGuard™ 1 in. x 1/2 in. sprinkler head tee is designed to connect CPVC piping to sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it includes a reinforced plastic thread that provides strength and resistance to cracking. The socket ends join to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-compliant solvent cement to form a watertight seal. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for use in systems built under NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D. With a maximum pressure rating of 175 psi and a temperature limit of 150°F, it’s ideal for residential and light-hazard sprinkler systems using CPVC piping.
During installation, follow Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for pipe preparation, cementing, and sprinkler assembly. Use CPVC-safe thread sealant and tighten the sprinkler head to the proper torque to prevent damage. The reinforced plastic threads offer secure engagement and long-term durability.
