The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-1/4 in. x 1 in. sprinkler head tee is designed for connecting CPVC piping to sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it offers high impact strength, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability. The reinforced plastic threads provide a secure, long-lasting sprinkler connection that resists cracking or stripping under normal installation torque. Each socket end is solvent-cemented with ASTM F493-approved cement to create a durable, watertight bond. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for systems following NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. It is rated for 175 psi working pressure and a maximum service temperature of 150°F.
Install per Spears FlameGuard™ directions for proper pipe cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler assembly. Use a CPVC-approved thread sealant and avoid overtightening the sprinkler head.
