The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-inch CPVC sprinkler head tee with reinforced plastic threads is designed for connecting sprinkler heads to CPVC pipe in wet fire sprinkler systems. The fitting features a fire-protection-grade CPVC body with a reinforced female thread for attaching sprinklers, providing high strength and resistance to cracking. Both socket ends are solvent-cemented to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved cement for a secure, watertight seal. This tee is UL Listed and FM Approved for systems built to NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. It is rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F service temperature, ideal for residential and light-hazard fire protection applications.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ guidelines for cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler assembly. Use a CPVC-safe thread sealant and tighten the sprinkler head carefully to avoid overtightening.
