The Spears FlameGuard™ TorqueSafe™ 1 in. x 3/4 in. female sprinkler head adapter connects CPVC pipe to brass sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. The fitting includes a brass insert with a gasket-sealed female thread that provides a watertight and reusable connection. The TorqueSafe™ feature includes a built-in stop that prevents overtightening, reducing the chance of damage to the CPVC body. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it provides durability, heat resistance, and long-term reliability. The socket end connects to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement for a watertight seal. UL Listed and FM Approved, this adapter meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D requirements. It is rated for 175 psi and 150°F maximum temperature.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ directions for pipe cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler head attachment. Apply CPVC-safe thread sealant and follow torque specifications.
