The Spears FlameGuard™ TorqueSafe™ 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. female sprinkler head adapter connects CPVC pipe to brass sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. It features a brass insert with a gasket-sealed female thread that ensures a watertight and reusable connection. The TorqueSafe™ design includes a built-in stop to prevent overtightening and reduce stress on the CPVC body. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The socket end joins to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-compliant solvent cement for a strong, leak-free bond. UL Listed and FM Approved, this fitting meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards, and is rated for 175 psi and 150°F maximum temperature.
Install following Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for pipe cleaning, solvent cementing, and sprinkler head assembly.
