The Spears FlameGuard™ TorqueSafe™ 1 in. x 1/2 in. female spigot sprinkler head adapter connects CPVC pipe to brass sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. This fitting includes a brass insert with a gasket-sealed thread to ensure a watertight, reusable connection. The TorqueSafe™ feature prevents overtightening, protecting the CPVC body from stress or cracking. Made from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it offers corrosion resistance, heat tolerance, and long-term reliability. The spigot end connects to CPVC fittings using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement for a strong, leak-free bond. UL Listed and FM Approved, it meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards.
