Viking™ Small Mirage Cover Plate Installation Tool
This Viking™ product is designed to ease installation for Viking™ small diameter Mirage Cover Plates with certain Viking™ concealed pendent fire sprinkler heads. This tool has a 1 in. hole that attaches to 1 in. CPVC pipe to help with high-ceiling installation. It has a platform diameter of 2-3/4 in. and is only to be used with Viking™ Small Diameter (2-3/4 in.) Mirage and certain Freedom model cover plates. To use this tool, simply attach the cover plate and insert the cover into the concealed sprinkler cup. Once installed, pull to release the cover from the tool.
Will this cover plate installation tool work for me?
This cover plate installation tool, manufactured by Viking™, is suitable for use with standard Viking™ Mirage sprinkler heads. For rapid installation, a Viking™ Mirage sprinkler wrench may be attached to the opposite end of the same 1 in. CPVC pipe, allowing installers to alternate between adding concealed sprinklers' cover plates and removing flush or protruding pendent sprinklers' caps.
