The Spears FlameGuard™ 1 in. x 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. SofTorque™ SR sprinkler head tee is made from fire-protection-grade CPVC and includes reinforced plastic threads with a gasket seal for leak-free performance. The SofTorque™ design helps prevent overtightening and reduces stress on the fitting during sprinkler installation. The socket ends connect to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement, forming strong, watertight joints. This tee is UL Listed and FM Approved for wet fire sprinkler systems designed to NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards. It is rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F maximum service temperature, suitable for residential and light-hazard applications.
