The Spears FlameGuard™ SofTorque™ SR 1 in. x 1/2 in. sprinkler head tee is made from fire-protection-grade CPVC and features a gasket-sealed reinforced plastic thread for reliable sprinkler connections in wet fire sprinkler systems. The SofTorque™ design reduces overtightening and stress on the fitting during assembly. The socket ends connect to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement for a permanent, watertight joint. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for use in systems designed to NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D. Rated for 175 psi and 150°F, it provides a lightweight, corrosion-resistant solution for residential and light-hazard sprinkler applications.
Install according to Spears FlameGuard™ instructions for proper cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler alignment.
