CPVC Sprinkler Head Tee — 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/4 in. x 1/2 in. Reinforced Plastic Thread — Spears FlameGuard™ — 4202-199SR
The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-1/2 in. x 1-1/4 in. x 1/2 in. sprinkler head tee connects CPVC pipe sections to sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. It is made from fire-protection-grade CPVC for high strength, corrosion resistance, and long service life. The reinforced plastic thread provides a durable, secure connection point for the sprinkler head, reducing the risk of cracking or leaks. Each socket end connects to CPVC pipe with ASTM F493-approved solvent cement, forming a watertight seal. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for systems built under NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D. It is rated for 175 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 150°F, suitable for residential and light-hazard installations.
Follow Spears FlameGuard™ installation instructions for cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler installation. Apply a CPVC-safe thread sealant and tighten the sprinkler head only to the specified torque. The reinforced thread design provides consistent engagement and maintains performance over time.
