CPVC Sprinkler Head Tee — 1-1/4 in. x 1 in. x 1/2 in. Reinforced Plastic Thread — Spears FlameGuard™ — 4202-156SR
The Spears FlameGuard™ 1-1/4 in. x 1 in. x 1/2 in. sprinkler head tee connects CPVC piping to sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. Constructed from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it provides a durable, corrosion-resistant connection designed to perform under fire protection conditions. The reinforced plastic thread offers strength and resistance to cracking while maintaining a reliable sprinkler head seal. Each socket end is solvent-cemented using ASTM F493-approved cement, forming a permanent, watertight bond. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for use in NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D systems. Rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F, it is well suited for residential and light-hazard sprinkler installations.
Follow Spears FlameGuard™ installation instructions for cleaning, cementing, and sprinkler head assembly. Apply a CPVC-approved thread sealant and tighten the sprinkler head only to the manufacturer’s specified torque. The reinforced plastic thread provides a reliable grip and consistent alignment for sprinkler installation. This tee ensures a code-compliant, corrosion-resistant connection that meets UL and FM standards for safe and dependable fire protection system performance.
