The Spears FlameGuard™ TorqueSafe™ 1 in. x 1/2 in. 90° sprinkler head elbow is designed to connect CPVC piping to brass sprinkler heads in wet fire sprinkler systems. The fitting features a brass insert with a gasket-sealed female thread for a watertight and reusable joint. The TorqueSafe™ design includes a built-in stop to prevent overtightening, helping protect the CPVC body from stress. The socket end joins to CPVC pipe using ASTM F493-approved solvent cement, forming a secure, leak-free bond. UL Listed and FM Approved, this fitting meets NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D installation standards. It is rated for 175 psi and a maximum temperature of 150°F.
