The brass insert provides a durable, heat-resistant female thread connection, while the socket ends are solvent-cemented using ASTM F493-approved cement to create leak-free joints. This fitting is UL Listed and FM Approved for use in systems installed per NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D. It is rated for 175 psi and up to 150°F maximum temperature, suitable for residential and light-hazard sprinkler systems.
