The Spears FlameGuard™ 1 in. CPVC transition union allows a secure connection between CPVC piping and metal threaded systems in wet fire sprinkler installations. Constructed from fire-protection-grade CPVC, it includes a precision-machined metal insert that ensures strength and thread integrity under pressure. The union design allows for easy disassembly and maintenance without cutting pipe. The CPVC socket end is solvent-cemented using ASTM F493-approved cement for a watertight seal.
