Viking VK4621/VK4921 With Cap Concealed Fire Sprinkler Head Wrench 23143

This Viking concealed fire sprinkler socket wrench is designed to speed installation of the VK4621 and VK4921 sprinkler heads with their protective caps. Note, this wrench is compatible with various other Viking sprinkler heads. See list below.

DO NOT use a wrench that is not specifically defined in the manufacturer datasheet as compatible with a sprinkler head during installation. This may damage the fire sprinkler and can cause a delay or error in activation when needed. Cabinet wrenches are made of plastic and are generally not suitable for use as a primary installation wrench. For specific installation instructions, refer to the manufacturer datasheet for the specific sprinkler head. See below for list of compatible sprinkler heads.

This wrench replaces to Viking 24339 cabinet wrench. Ratchet not included.

Why do building owners need spare fire sprinkler wrenches?

Commercial sprinkler systems installed in accordance with NFPA 13 require anywhere between 6 and 24 spare sprinkler heads to be stored in a cabinet on-site. NFPA 13-compliant cabinets also require a supply of wrenches used to remove and replace existing heads. The Viking 23143 light-duty cabinet wrench fulfills this requirement for select residential concealed pendent sprinklers.
